3 more alums from the inaugural Elite 15 team are making their way into junior hockey.

Kyle Johnson, Callum Volpe, and Ryan Pouliot all played for the BWC E15 team in the 2013-14 season.

Johnson, who won BWC's top scholastic award in 13-14 is headed to the Prince George Spruce Kings of the BCHL.

"Kyle was an everyday guy who really took advantage of the academy program.  He was first on the ice each day and usually last off, he is a solid 200 foot reliable player and a good person, I wish the best of success in his hockey career and pursuing a NCAA scholarship" said Leland Mack, head coach of the E15s

Volpe, who won BWC's Top Defenseman award is headed to the Vernon Vipers of the BCHL.

"Callum was another everyday guy, he just kept getting better and better. He was a pleasure to coach, and very well liked by his teammates.  He should be a really good BCHL D-man over the next couple years." said Mack

Ryan Pouliot who also played on the 2013-14 BWC E15 squad is headed to the Red Deer Rebels of the WHL.

"Ryan was always fun to be around with his big smile and sense of humour.  He really grew and developed his all around game, he has a good balance of defense and ability to create offense.  Going to Red Deer will be a big test and I hope to watch him play in the Memorial Cup in May 2016." said Mack

All 3 played in the BCMML this past season.

Those 3 players along with Spencer Hunter, Ryan Hogg, and Max Daerendinger make 6 players from that original E15 team that now have junior careers.

The BWC Hockey Academy is committed to cultivating champions in academics, sports, and life.
